College Homecoming 2015!
When your 19 year old says " I guess you''ll quit being a "bachelorette" after your Homecoming" you might need to sit down for a while...lol. Admittedly there has been very little going on in the kitchen.
To say I have been moving at lightening speed between the Georgia,Alabama,Mississippi, and Tennessee borders over the last couple of months would be an understatement.
When the opportunity to have a good time presents itself...I'm all in...work hard play harder! If you didn't go to college, especially an HBCU then you MUST get yourself to a Homecoming of sorts. I had a blast with my college best friends as we painted the town red and black. Saw a few old crushes, one old boyfriend, two former professors, and some old rivals (unfortunately some are still upset 30 years later...lol)
Oh and yes about that new hair....I am feeling myself. This weekend is never as good for me if I don't act like a tourist and get a hotel room downtown, if they can see you; then you're still in the rotation.......lol. Thank you Lord for mommy cooking Sunday Dinner; I don't care if Boy2 and Boy3 are whispering about me, after a 6 a.m. airport run, I didn't get up until 3 and back in the bed at 10. Another CAU Homecoming wrapped up....
