Date day...

YES! He asked me out on a date, and I was so excited! I rarely see him, and I’m always starving for his attention! The phone call went something like this...

Me: Hello

Josh: Hey Emah what’s up?

Me: Not much what’s happening with you?

Josh: What are you doing on Sunday?

Me: Well I was going to a friends concert, what did you have in mind?

Josh: I wanted to take you out to dinner and a movie…

Me: Oh well the concert can wait, or maybe I can make both, but I’m definitely going out with you!

This is Josh’s senior year at Howard University, and I honestly cannot tell you where the time has gone. This summer he is working a job, doing an internship, in a mentoring program, taking an LSAT tutorial class, and working for the family nonprofit; since the job internship and class are closer to dad’s I don’t see him much. 

UPDATE…..we saw Shaft and had dinner at Yardhouse in the battery..had great conversation and shared pure love between a mother and her sunshine…..I am watching him grow his wings and I am enjoying his preparation to take awf!!!!
