The Big Move

What took me so long you might ask? Well, that's an even longer story...I could tell you that it was a long regroup from my second divorce, or that I had three kids to send to college, or about that time I lost my job for almost a year and so many other things that left my family dwelling in grief! Whatever the reason we made a massive move on November 1st...an opportunity came and for the first time in a long time, I took a major leap of faith. A brief conversation with an old friend on a Thursday that I needed to make a move to pull the family together, by Saturday I looking over the balcony quietly convening with my Ancestors,  with a deep exhale I said this is it! I walked downstairs we talked business, and about three weeks later we moved in! Me, Momma, and the Boys! Oh, I see that look on your face...lol, but a sacrifice of personal privacy for family stability is nothing to a mother!

Between COVID-19, civil unrest in the country, and personal family trauma, I figured we all needed to be together. That I wanted to provide a launching pad and landing pad for those who needed it! Most of all security and comfort for my 81-year-old mother! The look on baby Sage's face when he took his first steps here was the icing on the cake! LOVE LIVES HERE, and we all need love!

I'm a mom, what's your superpower!
