Inspiration

For those who know me..you will know that like many women..my Momma and Oprah are at the tip top of my list for women who I admire and who inspire me. How cool is it that now one of my bff's now sits at the top of that list! Truth be told I admire and am inspired by all of my " real girlfriends" I am proud that I have  surrounded myself with smart, strong, and beautiful women who not only embrace who they are but most likely share a passion for helping others.♥

Today I had a chance to witness and have a small part in history in the making. A little conversation that started with  two 17 year old college girls, from opposite ends of the country would blossom into a wild and crazy 30 year ride; that lead to the breaking down of a 300 hundred year old barrier.

 I cannot say enough about today! I cried, I laughed, but mostly I stood in awe of my friend as I watched her be sworn in as the First African  American Female Judge in Probate court in the state of Connecticut. The words spoken from her and about her, the passion we share to help the disenfranchised; only validates that I chose right when I chose her as my friend all those years ago

.Yep this is the good stuff...what life is all about...:Dreaming Of the world you want, and going out there to create it! 🌏
