I lost my job, passed a milestone, and reclaimed my independence😟😃😘

What have you been up to in my absence?

Well....the handwriting had been on the wall.... so when I was told that my job would be abolished, it was like a sigh of relief......education had burned me O U T.... so I made up my mind to strike out on my own....and no pun intended, but it does actually fit!⚾

After all I had been getting small contracts on the side, and I decided that I COULD and WOULD DO THIS!! What this was exactly, I wasn't sure. I did know that I was gifted to write and speak, and that I had 12 years of experience in 3 different aspects of the educational system.

I had a college degree in Communications, with a minor in marketing and public relations. I also had television and radio experience,and I knew some real game changers. I had recent political experience under my belt too, and I was armed equipped and in position!

So I created my LLC, developed a business plan and off I went. It was invigorating, adventurous, educating, inspiring and downright scary. I traveled, met new friends, learned a lot, bumped my head, and depleted my savings....oh did I mention I moved out from under everybody in the process?
